According to CNA the Pope's book of homilies on the liturgical year will soon be published in English. Sandro Magister who selected the contents and wrote the book's preface has been received and congratulated by his Holiness. Magister is quoted as saying that Benedict is a true 'narrator' of the 'marvellous story that is the liturgical year'. (reported on Zenit from www.catholicnewsagency.com)
Please note that this is not the first published volume (of the proposed 16) of Benedict XVI's writings. This first which is a collection of all his writings on the liturgy, both as Cardinal Ratzinger and as Pope, is currently only available in German. However, Mark and I welcome the forthcoming translation of the Magister collection in which we expect to find much that will be relevant to 'In the Sight of Angels'.
As to Volume I of the Pope's collected works, if any reader has good German please contact jmossendew at gmail.com !
